What's included in the BBQ Plan?

But in case of a typhoon or strong storm, for safety reasons, we'll switch you to the "Bed & Breakfast Plan" and give you a 2,000 yen discount.
For dinner that night, you can pick a nearby restaurant you like.

Can I stay in the same room for consecutive nights?
If you combine multiple reservations with different plans, you may need to move rooms. Please let us know in advance if you have any preferences.
Can I stay alone?
Rates vary depending on room type and stay period. Please check when searching for availability.
How do I book if a child will share the bed?
Rates vary by season and plan. Please check the official website's reservation system for details.
Can I stay with a pet?
Our Hakone property "Hakone Wanko-tei Yuniva" offers private villas where small dogs can stay with you.
Please consider using that facility if traveling with pets.

How does check-in work?
Upon arrival, guests complete the check-in process themselves at the in-hotel check-in terminal.
Instructions are clearly displayed for ease of use, and our staff are available to assist you in case you have any questions, so you can check in with confidence.
Is early check-in available?

What about the bath and toilet in the rooms?
Baths are unit-style, and some rooms have toilets only.

- Dake Floor (3F): Japanese-Western style rooms with toilet, Western style rooms with toilet

Can I store valuables in the room?

Can I smoke in the rooms?
Use of e-cigarettes or heated tobacco is also prohibited.
A smoking area is available on the 3rd-floor emergency stairs.
Public Baths and Hotel Facilities
Is there a hot spring or public bath? When can I use it?
*Our hot spring service was discontinued as of August 24, 2016.
Bath hours: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. / 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the washing area.
Cotton swabs, hand soap, and hair dryers (3 each in the men’s and women’s changing rooms) are available in the dressing rooms.
Is there a sauna or cold bath?
There is no cold bath.
Is there a private bath?
All staying guests may use it.
Reservations are NOT required — if the sign on the door shows "Available," you are free to use it.
Can I use the public bath before check-in or after check-out?
Can I use the public bath for day use?
Is there a parking lot?

We have a free private parking lot with 20 spaces available for guests from arrival until departure.
It is located down the path between "Berghaus" and "Erika Lodge," toward the ski slope.
Please drive to the end and park as efficiently as possible.
Since cars may need to be moved for guest arrivals and departures, please leave your car key at the front desk.
Can I use the parking lot before check-in or after check-out?
*Parking may not be available if the lot is full.
Can I enter the hotel directly from the parking lot?
However, since there are NO shoe lockers at that entrance, please place your shoes in the lockers next to the 1st-floor entrance.
Lockers are assigned to each room to prevent mix-ups. Please check your locker number at check-in.
We are not responsible for lost footwear, so please manage your belongings carefully.
Is there an elevator?
Guest rooms are located on the 2nd Floor (Hana/Flower), 3rd Floor (Gaku/Mountain), and 4th Floor (Sora/Sky).
The front desk and restaurant are on the 1st floor, and the public bath is on the basement level.
Please note that all movement between floors is via stairs.
Is there a smoking area?
A smoking area is available on the emergency stairs on the 3rd floor.
Are there lockers?
Coin lockers are available near the gondola station.
Please use the safe in your room for valuables.
Is there a washing machine?
Detergent is provided.
Please note that the machines may be in use by other guests.
Are there vending machines?
Complimentary drinks are available during the following hours:

【Winter Season】How do I use the boot locker and ski storage during winter?
Each room has a designated locker—please check the location at the front desk upon check-in.
The ski storage area allows guests to secure skis and poles with individual locks.
As lockers are limited, please share one among your group if possible.
*Lost locker keys are a common issue—please take good care of your key.
Is there internet access?
Please bring your own device and equipment, as we do not provide computers or LAN cards.
Internet access is free of charge.
If the connection is weak in your room, please use the lobby area.

Do I need tire chains in winter?
Please ensure your car is equipped with winter tires.
It is extremely dangerous to visit with regular tires.
Even in March, when roads may appear dry, a sudden snowfall can quickly turn them into snow-covered and icy surfaces, making it impossible to drive with normal tires.
Additionally, the area in front of the hotel is on a slope, and our parking lot connected to the slopes and garden often has accumulated snow.
Even 4WD vehicles with regular tires can get stuck.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable ski or snowboarding trip, please equip your car with winter tires and snow chains.
Where is the nearest bus stop?
It is about a 10–15 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel.
Where is the nearest train station?
The nearest staffed stations are Hakuba Station and Minami-Otari Station.
A bus bound for Tsugaike Kogen Bus Stop departs from Hakuba Station.
From the bus stop, it takes about 10–15 minutes on foot to reach the hotel.
Is there a shuttle service from Tsugaike Kogen Bus Stop?

- Drop-off: Coordinated with the first departing bus

Is the Star Watching Tour still available?
Binoculars and camp sheets are available for rent at the front desk.
Please feel free to take them and enjoy stargazing on the meadow side of the ski slope.

*Without a reservation, tours may be full or charged at the regular rate.
*The Star Watching Tour ended in November 2024. Binoculars and sheets are available for rent for your own use.

- Guests over 160 cm tall or with shoe size over 25 cm will be charged adult rates.
